UNITED BY MUSIC

No one could have come up with a better slogan for Eurovision could they?

It sums up perfectly not only how the UK is coming together with Ukraine to stage this event but also how music, dance, drama, cooking, coding, cardboard modelling -whatever it is we love doing - how it can connect us.

Tonight we’ll be reconnecting with the city and the city with the country if not the world with the #OurEurovision23 live stream/ restream from t#OurSeeMonster stage.

We were in Liverpool for a week recently to help launch the #SaveOurSubjects campaign with The Edge Foundation, the Independent Society of Musicians and 20 other organisations.

We flew up in #OurStarShip22 and landed it on #OurSeeMonster - it might look like an old oil rig but really its an art rig, a 100m tall platform we’ve upcycled from cardboard, code and creativity from an old rig that government left on the beach at Weston Super Mare recently as part of their briliant £120m #Unboxed2022 Festival of Creativity.

As ever we were delighted to collaborate with BBC Radio Liverpool and children from across the city performed on it.

See a snapshot of that wonderful week below.

ARTCONNECTS

Here’s a sumary of that happy weekend.
