DAY 8: LIVE FROM DORCHESTER

What a day.

And night

#StarShip22 arrived and landed on #OurSeeMonster at Prince of Wales School in Dorchester the night before we were due so we snuggled down for the night in the car park, only to be awoken in the night by rustling.

Word had clearly got out about our top secret STEAM Creativity innovations and we feared industrial espionage.

Police were called, who disocvered a foot pirnt and a discarded piece of red plastic, which reminded us it was Red Nose Day and that anything could happen!

but had no idea that the snooper was Elon Mask who turned up in his electric card the next day and drove off in our Telsa cardbaord model as you can see in this film below.

DAY 7: LIVE FROM NEWBURY

YOU WON’T BELIEVE YOUR EYES - A day of inspiration and activities for primary kids, working from home on Thursday 16th

On the #GreatestClassroomOnEarth - #OurSeeMonster, created from cardboard, code and our creativity on school playgrounds

The #GreatestScienceLessonOnEarth – an introduction to #OurSeeMonster, the lessons we can learn from it

Two sessions:

  • 10-11am : INTRODUCING – a look at #OurSeeMonster, this STEAM powered beast and your tasks for the day

  • 2-3pm : YOUR WORK – a look at what you got up to and a few prizes for the best efforts

A very special day in Shropshire, a year after our day in Church Stretton.

Today we visited Bitterley C of E Primary for a super #RocketKids23 session - we’ll live stream a session with the community next week that you can join in on and see what you missed!

A wonderful day at Maesplas Primary, NewPort , South Wales - where we built #OurSeeMonster - we even had a chat with Scott Quinell on BBC Radio Wales.

THE GREATEST SCIENCE LESSON ON EARTH

Thursday 16th March will see a national teacher strike. Having seen first hand the great job and hard work done by our teachers we stand in solidarity with them but can’t forget our children and their learning.

We were due to visit Mrs Cooper, the chilcren and staff at John Rankin Schools in Newbury who may be closed, who knows.

Either way we are flying down in #StarShip22 and will be live streaming science talks and activities from #OurSeeMonster to the their chidlren, country, the world.
