Art Crazy South Wales in the House

The magic that transpires when creative minds band together is relentless, and the best kind of … wait …  contagion.

Today’s #communitylockin live from Cardiff celebrates Global Cardboard Challenge Day.

Master carton designer Chris Gilmour turned up on short notice to showcase life-size vehicles designed entirely of cardboard.

Teen wiz, Cain Monroy beamed in from California to share his inspiring story, sparked by a fully working cardboard amusement arcade, which he built himself when he was barely ten! Boom … Go kids!

Art students Ellie Sykes and Stanley Mel from Cardiff School of Art and Design Illustration were right at home, tuning in to share their puppets and comics, loads of insight, and, the icing on the cake, a commitment to help mentor kids together with STEAM Co.!
