SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE

From the #ARTofDADs with his dad and special guests in The Space at St Laurence - the cathedral-like Ludlow Parish Church - to the #ARTofREBELS with Glen Matlcok, co-founder of The Sex Pistols at Ludlow Brewery there should be something for everyone in this programme of events designed to show that art doesn’t have to be about paint and art galleries, as long as it connects us.

Be part of it

These events will be live and live streamed and we want you to be part of them in the lead up as well as on the day, where ever you are. Each of the events below has a Facebook event page where you can comment and share memories, dreams and visions!

Making it up as we go along

We’ll be finalising the events up to the last minute so be sure to sign up for updates or to be part of them by saying a few words from the audience, from the stage or there at home in our Zoom Room studio audience.

Fund raiser

We’re trying to raise funds for STEAM Co. in the process, but please don’t hesitate to grab a concessions ticket if it’s easier or contact us for a freebie.

We want to raise £2m for a year of events like this across the UK in 2022.

The #SNAIL TRAIL 21

We’re delighted to be helping Ludlow Fringe with their Snail Trail, and you can be part of it too.

Join children across Ludlow by making a snail from clay and painting it and either send it to Ludlow Fringe so they can add it to the snail trail on the final Fringe weekend.

Or put it in a special place and share it on your social media or, if it’s in a public maybe tag it with the amazing What3Words app so others can find it and snap it too!

STEAM Co. and LUDLOW

Ludlow was where STEAM Co. Co-founder and CEO Nick Corston was born and spent his youth before going to university and starting a career in London.

LUDLOW JUNIOR SCHOOL

About five years ago we had a wonderful time, running one of our STEAM Co. Day creativity days at Ludlow Junior Schools as you can see here.

We were delighted to be able to include a filmed message by Lord Martin Rees, the Astronomer Royal and Baron Lord of Ludlow.

Since then we have also visited St Laurence’s Junior School on our #AimHigh20 UK Tour and Clee Hill School on our first Christmas Tour.

#ARTofLUDLOW

During our UK Art takeover Community during our Community Lock-In, we did a one day pop-up from Ludlow featuring a chat with Rector Kelvin Price of St Laurence Church who told us how it has been completely re-imagined at the heart of the community as a flexible meeting and events space.

Also a chat with a local art activist and Nick’s mum and dad who were/are shielding and a visit to a live steam railway in a local garden!
