THREE IS THE MAGIC NUMBER
Our Inspired To Learn Summer Tour was incredible so we want to do it again.
We want to rent the camper van again and hit the road but for a PROPER tour of the UK, England, Scotland, Northern Ireland back via Wales.
Our schools are broke so we’re looking for three sponsors to donate £7,500 each by clicking here to help us visit 30 schools before Christmas.
Inspired by a couple of dads, some women in space and all our kids. For all their futures.
COMING OR GOING?
Last term, back in April we didn’t know if we were coming or going, locked in, down or out but one thing was for sure.
Our kids had had a rough time and needed to be inspired.
A head teacher, Mr Spracklen at Prince of Wales School which he says is the ‘Greatest School on Earth’ gave us the idea for our #InspiredToLearn21 Tour and we packed up on cardboard Coventry Cathedral with rocket powered tower and live streamed sessions to schools across the UK.
But we wanted to get back into schools with our sessions, but they didn’t have any money to cover our costs so we were delighted when the Inspiration4 SpaceX mission led by a dad, Jared Isaacman saw our May Day call on Twitter and stepped up as one of the three sponsors we needed.
We rented a camper van called ‘Elvis’ and hit the road.
We ran sessions in schools across the country and a week at Ludlow Fringe Festival where I was a patron and ran ten #ArtConnects21 events.
Two particular highlights of the tour are below:
The #ARTofCARING
We had a great time when we were invited down to Seaton on the Devon coast.
A dad and a grandad who each run local firms, Paul Vine Electrics and Rousdon Car Sales, and have grand children and children in the school sponsored us to go in and run a day.
The #ARTofCOMMUNITY
When we heard that Leicester was about to launch an art trail consisting of rocket sculptures made my artists and local schools to help a hospice we had to check it out.
We visited Mellor Primary whose rocket was inspired by their community values. Click here to make a donation.
